SCAR Antarctic History, Humanities, and Social Science Workshop

Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado, May 20-23, 2015

A joint workshop of the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR) History Expert Group and the SCAR Humanities and Social Science Expert Group will be held at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado from 20-23 May 2015.  The title of the workshop is “Antarctic Wilderness: Perspectives from History, the Humanities and the Social Sciences.” Alongside this wilderness theme there will be a wide range of papers that examine Antarctica from historical, humanities, and social science perspectives.  The deadline for abstract submission has now passed, but please get in touch with the workshop organizers at scarhistorysocialscience2015@hotmail.com with any questions relating to the workshop.
